Automatic updates

This flag determines whether BL Banking will automatically search for available updates when the application starts.

Search for updates each time the platform starts

You can make this setting individually for each administrator in a multi-user installation. Regardless, this checkbox is always disabled for users without administrator rights. See also the section General functions - User administration - Administrator rights.

Note: We recommend the automatic update, since this will ensure that you are consistently working with the latest version of BL Banking. However if you installed the program into a write-protected directory, the update is not possible for an operating system user without administrator rights. Also, in this case you will not be offered an update. For further info see section Installation - Installation scenarios - Separate data storage.
