Administrator rights

Certain functions and settings in BL Banking are reserved for users, who have so-called administrator rights. This way, the operation of the program with multiple users can be made safer. At least one user must have administrator rights, but there can also be more than one.

Note: The administrator rights described here must be distinguished from the bank-specific permissions, e.g. signature classes. These can only be configured on the side of the bank and are displayed here in the Order section under Bank properties – User profil.

The following functions can only be performed by administrators.

Administrate users
Delete banks
all functions resulting from the system settings listed below

In the System settings, some pages and individual settings can only be edited by administrators. These are visible to other users, but are grayed out.

AWV notifications – all settings
Automatic updates: Check for updates every time you start the platform
File transfers: Display error messages from the customer protocol
File transfers – Cleanup: all settings
Database: all settings
File transfers – Print settings: Display payment details in transmission report and transmission dialog | Print only one payment details table per page
Account information – Display settings: Display only accounts for which payment permissions exist | Display automatic exports only to administrators
Account information – Cleanup: all settings
Security: Encrypt local files
Security – Password requirements: all settings
Electronic distributed signature: Display payment details | Sign without viewing details |
EDS – Cleanup: all settings
Payment recording: Display only payments for which permissions exist | Check permission for order type / BTF when recording a payment | Allow originator recording | Recipient recording

Note: The settings made by administrators apply to all users (except for automatic updates), but only after BL Banking has been restarted.
