BL Banking provides you with the option to transfer or retrieve orders from the bank in the form of files. These files contain text in a format that matches the respective order type. As an example, account statements can be transmitted with the STA order type in the MT940 format.
The files to be transmitted can be opened with a text editor (e.g. Notepad in Windows). But the files are generally imported or exported by other applications (e.g. financial accounting software).
The bank assigns the available order types to you. The section Bank properties - User profile describes how to review the order types stored under your user at the bank.
