For this method, the application must run in a common and up-to-date web browser that supports the WebAuthn standard. It also requires a FIDO2 authenticator, such as a USB token or the fingerprint sensor on a smartphone. To activate, first click on the button Add security key on this page. The browser will then open a pop-up window and prompt you to connect to the security key. If you have done this successfully, you will be redirected back to the page Two-factor authentication and the security key is displayed with its ID in the overview there.
