Several reasons are possible. Check one after another fetch schedules, permissions and the fetch order type actually used by the bank in this order. If you still don't see any account statements, continue with the next check. If the check shows that authorizations are missing or the bank does not provide account statements, contact the bank.
Fetch Schedules: Check whether there is a fetch schedule for account statements.
For the creation of fetch schedules, see chapter Settings – Fetch Schedules. The Last fetch column shows whether the fetch schedule has already been executed. If necessary, you can change the schedule or retrieve the account statements directly using the Fetch now button.
Note: If you have a freely configured fetch schedule for account statements, it may be necessary to change the fetch order type in the fetch schedule following the next check steps.
Bank settings: Check whether the bank authorizes you to fetch account statements.
- Open Settings – Banks. Your EBICS user status with the bank must be ready so that you can carry out the check yourself. Otherwise you will need the help of another user or administrator.
- Open the bank details and the Order types tab.
- Find one or more entries for Daily statements in the Description column. The Type column contains the approved fetch order type, e.g. C53 or STA.
If there is no entry for daily statements, the bank approval for fetching account statements is missing.
- Switch to the Permissions tab.
- Check whether there is an entry here for the same order type.
If not, you as a participant have no permission from the bank. The table also shows whether you have full permission or are limited to certain accounts and amounts.
- Switch to the Account statements tab.
- Check whether one of the order types for which you are authorized is entered in the Fetch order type field in the Account statements area.
- If not, click on Edit and select the relevant entry under Format. For example, if MT940 (STA) is set and you are only authorized for camt.053 (C53), switch to camt.053.
Retrieve account statement manually: Check whether you can fetch an account statement using the Retrieve file from bank function.
- Open Orders – Retrieved files.
- Click Retrieve file from the bank.
- Select the checked bank, one of the previously determined order types and the retrieval method From the current provision. If necessary, repeat the retrieval with the other order types identified.
If statement data could be retrieved, it should also be displayed under Account statements.
If the bank does not offer statements for retrieval, a blue information bar appears with the message every time a retrieval is attempted: No data is available at the bank ... for the order type .....
