Create AWV participant company

You can access this dialog box only from the dialog box Create / Edit AWV participants. Here, you can create and edit the data for reporters. Reporters are mainly companies, but also other institutions, data centers, financial institutions, and private individuals. A reporter (AWV participant company) is a required part of an AWV participants (contact) and can be assigned to one or more contacts.

Company number (Reporting number)

Enter the 8-digit number for the Deutsche Bundesbank's electronic reporting system here. The reporting number is used to identify the reporter. Therefore, you cannot save any data here without a reporting number.

If no reporting number exists, it must first be requested one from the Deutsche Bundesbank (German Federal Bank). Financial institutions are excluded from this requirement; for them, the bank code serves as the reporting number. Detailed information is available online at www.bundesbank.de on the page Service – Reporting system – External sector – Electronical submission – Reporting number.

Note: If you previously used the collective reporting number 00999995 for individuals who are obliged to submit their AWV reports electronically, you must replace it with their own reporting number. The collective reporting number is no longer valid.
Company name

Enter the name of the company, institution, or data center here. For an individual, you can repeat the name of the contact person from the former dialog box or enter a note such as "Individual" instead. The content of this field is included in AWV notifications and reporting files.

Street / Post box / Postal code / City / Country

The address is optional. The drop-down list Country contains country codes according to ISO 3166 and pseudo-codes, which are the same as those in the field Country within an AWV notification. "DE – Germany" is included here.
