Refresh

Refreshing your bank connections retrieves the user profile from the banks, with which, for example, the order types and accounts of your organization, as well as your subscriber ID and your personal permissions as a subscriber, are transmitted. In the bank properties, the User profile is displayed on several tabs.

It is important to refresh regularly to receive changes made by a bank, for example, because the bank has added new order types or accounts for your organization. For this reason, all bank connections are automatically refreshed every time the program is started. You can control this automatic function in your user settings under General.

Manual refresh

During a work session, it may be necessary to update a bank connection again, for example, after you have requested a new permission from the bank for SEPA credits from a specific account. To do this, select the desired bank under the perspective Orders and press the key F5 on your keyboard. Alternatively, right-click on the desired bank and select the menu item Refresh from the context menu using the left mouse button.

When you refresh the bank profile, the public keys for the bank are also retrieved. You can perform this step separately by opening the context menu for the relevant bank as described and selecting the menu item Update bank keys (HPB). This menu item is located at the top in the group with other bank functions.

Note: The user profile is retrieved with the technical order type HTD, and the public keys of the bank with HPB.
