Initialization letter

After successful initialization, the initialization letter (also called INI letter) is displayed as a PDF file. Please print this letter and send it to your bank as a legally binding, signed original. The bank will provide the corresponding instructions.

The initialization letter consists of the INI letter and the HIA letter, which are both printed on one page. This contains the following data:

• General data — user name, date, recipient
• Host ID — the reference of the EBICS server of your bank
• Customer-ID — the reference for your company at your bank
• User-ID — the reference for you as a subscriber at your bank
• The fingerprints of the public keys with hash, exponent and modulo for the electronic signature (e.g A006), the authentication (X002), and the encoding (E002).

You can also display the initialization letter retroactively. Do so by right-clicking on your bank in the Jobs perspective. Then click on the Display INI letter item in the context menu.
